Asking for help
If you need help via email, there are a couple things you can do to make it easier for me to answer your questions.
Best option: My most preferred way to get questions about code is if the code is copy-pasted into the email. That means I can copy it into my own RStudio, run it, and see what the problem is. It’s also good to copy-paste the error message you’re getting, but the code is the most important part.
Second-best option: Take a screenshot of your screen showing the problem. If you don’t know how to take a screenshot, read the instructions for Mac or the instructions for Windows Taking a screenshot means your screen is perfectly clear, so it’s easy for me to read.
Worst option: The worst way to send someone a problem on your computer is by taking a photograph of the screen. Taking a photo often leads to the moiré effect which makes it hard to read your code.
